Measuring Ovality of a Tube

Ovality of a tube refers to the amount a tube is out of round, or the difference between the largest OD measurement and the smallest OD measurement.  The  Ovality tolerance is the area in which the difference must fall.  Industry standard suggests the Ovality be no greater than 1% of the O.D.’s largest reading.
